How to convert PDF files with 3 simple steps?
Step 1 Import PDF files
To import PDF files to convert, you just need to drag and drop PDF files to the panel. And also, you can choose File -> Add PDF Files in menu bar to add PDF files. The default converted format is MS Office Word (.doc).

Step2 Choose the format to convert
Click on the gear icon
and then you can choose the output format of each PDF file: MS Office Word (.doc), MS Office Excel (.xls), MS Office PowerPoint (.pptx), HTML Document (.html), Text Document (.txt) or Electronic Publication (.epub), Rich Text Format (.rtf) and Images (.jpg, .png, .bmp, .gif, .tiff). And also, you can customize the Page Range to convert in this window.

Step3 Convert PDF files
Click the Convert button to start the conversion. There will be a process bar indicating the current process during conversion. You can also click the File tab and click Convert in the menu bar to start the conversion.
Note: The Convert button will become a Cancel button after the conversion starts. During the conversion, you can terminate the conversion by clicking the Cancel button in the program. You can also terminate the conversion by clicking the Convert tab in the menu bar and selecting Cancel from the menu.

How to perform OCR to scanned PDF files? (PDF Converter Pro for Mac)
OCR is only available within PDF Converter Pro for Mac. To perform OCR to your scanned PDF files, just launch PDF Converter Pro for Mac and you can find a small checkbox below the panel, you can convert scanned PDF files with OCR by default. If you just need to convert normal PDF files, you can untick the checkbox to disable OCR, which can help you convert PDF files quicker.
Note: before converting scanned PDF files, you need to choose the right languages for the output documents by choosing PDF Converter Pro > Preference… from the top menu.
Supported recognition languages are: English, Turkish, Greek, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Romanian, and Catalan.
Flexible output options for converting PDF to Excel, EPUB, and Image
You can customize the output Excel spreadsheets, EPUB files, and HTML pages by clicking the Conversion tab by choosing PDF Converter Pro > Preference… from the top menu.

PDF to Excel:
Retain value without formatting: is the default option. It saves all the original text, numbers in PDF tables to Excel cells after converting PDF to Excel, without preserving the original formatting. Retain original formatting of forms: allow you to preserve text, numbers and formatting in the original PDF file. This option is not suitable for some un-regular PDF tables, as there might be some positioning error that may affect the usual calculation after conversion.
PDF to EPUB:
Text and images to EPUB: convert the text and images of the original PDF file to EPUB format. Users can copy the text or save the images from the converted files.
Each page as an image to EPUB: convert each page of a PDF file as a whole image. The converted file looks the same as the PDF, but users cannot copy the text or save the images in the file.
PDF to Image:
Each page of the PDF file as an image: Allow you to export each page of PDF file as an image.
Extract all images in the PDF file: Let you extract all images, including graphics, from every PDF file.
How to convert encrypted PDF files?
After you import encrypted PDF files into PDF Converter for Mac:
If the PDF file is protected by Owner Password, which is restricted PDF file from editing, copying and printing, PDF Converter for Mac can convert those PDF files directly without entering the password.
If the PDF file is protected by User Password, which is restricted PDF file from opening, users need to enter the open password for conversion. Just click on the small lock icon beside the imported encrypted PDF file and type in the authorized Open Password, the PDF files is unlocked for conversion. And then you can click Convert button to convert it as normal PDF files.

How to review an imported PDF file?
To review the imported PDF file, please click the PDF icon in the program. You can also click the File tab in the menu bar and click Preview PDF File to view the selected PDF file in the program.
